Facilitate intake meetings with new students who need to become registered for Academic Accommodations Met with registered students regularly to discuss topics related to, executive functioning, organization, self-advocacy, self-awareness, resiliency, and other critical intelligence quotient functions; additionally, assist with topics such as: adjusting to the campus environment, registering for classes, advocating with faculty, and taking exams Supervised and trained graduate fellowship student, which includes: teaching office flow and email triage, ensuring comprehension of specific database, and Testing Center processes Build and acquire alternative format resources for registered students
• Meet with students registered with Accessibility Services, particularly students on academic probation, to develop/increase executive functioning and organization, self-advocacy, self-awareness and resiliency, as well as adjusting to the campus environment with registering for classes, advocating with faculty, and taking exams • Managing the Testing Center processes and protocol for students with accommodations and faculty • Maintaining regular contact with our 350 registered students about the office, utilizing accommodations, and campus resources • Serving on committees including: Medical Housing Accommodations Team; maintaining confidential documentation for medical housing requests and keeping record of medical information. • Managing office flow, tasks including: student roster, documentation and accommodation letters, requests for alternative format textbooks and assistive technology, website maintenance, and central office email triage
