About

As a proud American, Gen Z commentator, and community advocate, I have experience across campaigns, national media, and leadership roles. My work is centered on politics, media, and civic engagement, with a concentration on how young people interact with democracy, institutions, and power. I graduated a semester early from Oglethorpe University in December 2024 with a B.A. in Political Science and proudly walked with my original Class of 2025 that May. During my undergrad years, not a second was wasted. I served as Student Body President in my junior year, as the first East Asian student elected to the role. There, I fulfilled my initiatives to get students civically engaged by collaborating with Georgia State University's SGA to register students to vote, launching the OU tradition, Stormy Gratitude Day, to appreciate both students and faculty, and expanding civic programming. Professionally, my experience expanded beyond the classroom, interning at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution as a Digital Producer, a U.S. Senate internship, and serving as State Director for Voters of Tomorrow Georgia during a historic election cycle. I'm currently pursuing a Master of Science in Public Policy at Georgia Tech (MSPP '27), where I serve as a fully funded Research Assistant working with a distinguished professor and interdisciplinary research lab on women in STEM. My motivation for getting involved in politics stems from a deep-rooted desire to improve the quality of life for people. Having undergone foster care and adoption in my early childhood shaped how I understand policy, not as a black and white system, but as an involuntary process that directly impacts whether people are represented, protected, or forgotten. Since age 14, I've been involved in political campaigns, media, and advocacy, gaining experience both in front and behind the scenes. Some of my civic involvement has been featured in The New York Times, NBC News, CNN Politics, and The Guardian. My commentary has been quoted by outlets including Fox News, New York Post, Business Insider, Washington Examiner, The Epoch Times, and The Wall Street Journal (WSJ). Alongside my graduate studies, I continue contributing to national conversations through media interviews, published writing, and public speaking. In the long term, my aspirations include senior political communications positions, establishing a national platform, becoming a commentator, and actively getting others involved. My primary objective has always been to utilize my voice to foster community involvement in our democracy.
