Led the worldwide Go-To-Market strategy for AWS Transcribe, Amazon's managed AI/ML service for voice transcription and analytics, with a focus on driving adoption across Financial Services (FSI) and Telecom, Media, Entertainment & Gaming (TMEG) industries. Owned end-to-end GTM responsibility for Call Center Intelligence (CCI) and Intelligent Speech Analytics (ISA) solutions, building agentic workflows designed to improve customer acquisition, engagement, and experience at scale. Designed and executed 12+ internal and external enablement campaigns in collaboration with AWS partners, accelerating awareness and supporting the full PoC-to-production lifecycle. These initiatives centered on high-impact business use cases including customer experience transformation, employee productivity, next-best-action intelligence in call center environments, and pre-sales and sales optimization. Spearheaded the launch and GTM strategy for Amazon Q Business and Intelligent Speech Analytics, leading a targeted adoption initiative across 120+ enterprise accounts in North America. The program addressed enterprise needs around internal knowledge base analysis through virtual assistants and AI agents — driving measurable pipeline and accelerating Q's enterprise footprint across key market segments.
Led startup ecosystem development across MENA and Central & Eastern Europe, enabling pre-Series A startups to build and scale their ventures on AWS across compute, analytics, and AI/ML workloads. Grew the startup account base 7X, from 3,600 to 21,300+ through AWS Activate signups, delivering 52% YoY growth in accounts and 78% YoY revenue growth (Net Accrued Revenue). Built and managed relationships with 174+ startup organizations across the ecosystem, including top-tier VCs, Tier 1 & 2 accelerators such as Techstars and SeedStars, incubators, and government entities. Established strategic partnerships with high-profile institutions including the AI Office at the UAE Ministry of Culture & AI (MoCA), Dubai SME, Monshaat KSA, Fintech Saudi, Dubai Future Foundation, Hub71, and MITC — strengthening AWS's presence and credibility within the regional innovation landscape. Collaborated with cross-functional teams on EEM-wide strategic initiatives including annual account planning (FY20 to FY22), the DG/AM program, early-stage startup programs, and driving parity for programs like Jumpstart across emerging markets. Partnered with the AWS partner network to identify and onboard startup-ready partners, accelerating cloud migration and AI/ML adoption among EEM startups.
Post the $450M+ acquisition of Souq.com by Amazon, supported the transition from Souq.com to Amazon.ae from a selection and availability standpoint. As part of a lean, cross-functional "pizza team," drove the migration of existing Souq tools and systems onto Amazon's platforms and processes — including Scott, inventory planning, assortment management, and price competitive mapping — ensuring business continuity through one of the region's most significant e-commerce milestones. Managed 5 retail General Lines (OHL) with a team of 3 Vendor Managers, while concurrently serving as the Selection expansion point of contact for the UAE. Delivered exceptional category growth, scaling retail selection 3.9X YoY through direct top-brand partnerships with global names including 3M, Lego, Newell, Grohe, Stanley Black & Decker, Bosch, Philips, Tefal, and Hasbro. Reduced friction around direct imports into the UAE, resulting in 67% YoY GMS growth and 3.2% YoY improvement in Pure Product Margin (PPM). Collaborated with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives including the development and rollout of the Selection Monitoring Tool (SMT), Salesforce implementation, and management of the long-tail vendor pipeline. Supported the launch of new and under-indexed general lines with a target of 100% YoY retail selection growth in the UAE, contributing to building a scalable and competitive retail foundation for Amazon's regional presence.
