Liable for evaluation & closure of project & structured finance deals in the Water, EPC, Metal, & Mining sector. Provide financial and operational analytical assistance. Evaluated and led team for carrying out full due diligence and presenting business scenarios to Investment Committee for a proposed merger of wind portfolio with a listed entity. Part of the core team to work on the proposed masala bond issuance. Built financial models to address new problems & questions from management teams on various corporate finance topics. Tactically raised more than US$ 1 billion from a mix of private and public sector banks by way of short term unsecured loan & long term project finance. Initiated and successfully crafted the US$ 300 million re-finance deal for project loan at 2% less than the previous ROI through securitization of future receivables of wind projects. Raised funds necessary for financial closure of organization’s wind power projects of 1,000 MW; contributed towards increasing the company’s wind portfolio from 200 MW to 1,000 MW.
Handled corporate and project finance for a start-up organization in renewable energy segment. Raised funds of US$ 5 million from angel investors.
