As a senior at the University of Washington majoring in Information Technology, I am passionate about leveraging technology to drive efficiency, security, and innovation. My focus areas include Automation, Networking, Cybersecurity, DevOps, Artificial Intelligence (AI), LLMs, and Generative AI (GenAI). All fields that are rapidly shaping the future of IT. My journey in technology began early, tinkering with different software and games, which grew a love for gaming PC's and how to build them and now where the rest of the story is still in works. I then took a class on Cisco Networking at my high school followed by an AAS for IT from Bellevue College, and currently a bachelors degree in IT at UW with plans to pursue masters. These experiences have equipped me with a strong foundation in networking, cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and other fields complementing my hands-on learning in advanced technologies at both the professional level and a hobbyist level. I am a lifelong learner, always eager to expand my knowledge and apply it to real-world challenges. Part of the DAIS iCare team to help research and develop an NLP (Natural Language Processing) AI Chatbot for mental health patients and as a tool for their caregivers. Currently researching LLMs and how they work. How Natural Language Processing is used and applied for iCare's therapy use. Assisting with reinstating and redeploying iCare dev env servers. Learned how to SSH into servers that were using multiple 1080Ti NVIDIA GPU's for virtual configuration using a custom UW F5 VPN. Supervised by Dr. Dong Si
Assisting with internal infrastructure and cloud strategy by analyzing documentation and evaluating technical decision-making processes. Reviewing developer team scenarios, reflecting on conflict resolution approaches, and responding to case-based questions related to infrastructure planning, service quality evaluation, and remote operations. Developing an understanding of cloud computing, infrastructure, risk management, and DDoS mitigation strategies in SaaS enterprise environments.
Spearheaded the development of a custom web and mobile app solution for Car Planet Auto Sales (Tacoma branch), a used car dealership aiming to scale its digital presence. Leveraged Wix Studio to design and deploy a sleek, responsive website aligned with the client's brand and vision. Built out a dynamic inventory system by integrating structured databases originally created in Excel and transitioned to Wix's CMS. Prompt engineered an AI chatbot using OpenAI (originally Abacus), programmed to deliver real-time support and streamline customer interactions by interfacing with live inventory and sales data. Enhanced operational efficiency through automation pipelines that connected dealership & contact information, and inquiry forms to backend databases. The chatbot was deployed to the site using OpenAI via API key and assistant ID through JavaScript inside Wix's backend and front end code. Developed automation experience with Zapier and Make.com through custom email configuration and webhooks, although Wix integrated automation tools were ended up used in the final product. Collaborated cross-functionally as the project manager in a four-person development team, contributing: Homepage and inventory UI/UX design tailored for mobile and desktop users. AI chatbot prompt engineering and deployment across customer touchpoints. Automation of lead capture and customer response systems. Weekly Agile stand-ups, task coordination, and milestone tracking. Providing end-to-end IT support and infrastructure assistance in a live production and office environment. Served as a primary point of contact for technical issues, leveraging Freshdesk for help desk ticketing and resolution tracking. OS imaging on multiple Windows machines and lastly handled asset and inventory management through Snipe-IT, overseeing equipment lifecycle, deployment, and decommissioning. Collaborated with the media team to support and operate advanced AV technology, including OBS Studio, digital audio mixers, professional cameras, and a preset switchpad to manage real-time transitions during services and presentations. Ensured smooth streaming and live-switching between camera feeds and presentation content.
