Led, managed, and enhanced youth development program. Designed and implemented curriculum for grades 6-12. Coordinated and advised mentorship program. Recruited and retained program participants, community organizations, educators, stakeholders and mentors. Organized events across 5 school districts. Facilitated monthly community events and workshops.
Supporting Tacoma South Puget Sound MESA. As an organization we work to provide opportunities to school aged students. We offer math, science, engineering and technology to students of underrepresented communities including Latinx, Black, Indigenous, and Asian. I create content for our social media page. Assist the program coordinator with preparation for MESA Day. Schedule meetings and coordinate zoom. I offer general office support such as answering phones, responding to emails. Event planning and preparing.
Created a memorable experience for all fair goers at the Washington State Fair. I had roles in the photo booth collecting funds, maintaining a welcoming and fun working environment for our team. Creating schedules that align with the needs of the company and my team. Managing refunds and grievances by any employees or customers.
