As a personal tutor I have furthered my skills in tutoring and building rapport with student 1 to 1- I hope to continue tutoring as I enjoy teaching others.
As a Welcome Ambassador, I support new students during their arrival and induction period by providing on-site information, guidance, and a friendly point of contact. My role involves helping students navigate the campus, answering queries about university services, and ensuring they feel welcomed and supported as they settle into university life.
I have made use of my Lambda Gold public speaking award and have now gained experience managing finances, guests and overall management of large scale events like Diwali Ball, Rangeela and Holi. From starting off as a first year representative I have gained confidence and knowledge in a leadership role via distributing tasks to team members, ushering in events and handling any difficulties quickly.
