Sixteen years’ project management and engineering experience from the offshore and subsea industry, working with all project phases from early concept studies through to front-end engineering, design, fabrication, installation and operation of petroleum and telecommunication infrastructure. Commercially minded with a solid understanding of market dynamics from working within a range of segments from owners / operators to independent design houses and installation contractors. Curious and driven by technology and technology development, with diversified technical experience ranging from large subsea field development studies down to detailed equipment design, technology development and marine operational planning.
- Main responsibility for delivering successful projects related to expansion of Tampnet's submarine infrastructure - Project manager for global subsea fibre development projects, including the 300km Deep Gulf cable system in deep water Gulf of Mexico and the 700km Norfest cable system along the southern coast of Norway and Sweden. - Responsible for design and improvements of subsea fibre infrastructure - Responsible for product development related to subsea fibre infrastructure - Responsible for vendor management, installation contractor follow-up and operational support during installation
- Part of structure and systems design department, with main focus on subsea oil and gas field development from early feasibility assessments to detail design and execution. - Project manager responsible for project deliveries and client follow-up. - Lead engineer responsible for field layouts and routing design, pipeline design, seabed intervention, installation assessments, cost evaluations and interface management. - Client representative for follow-up of design activities and offshore inspection and maintenance activities. - Involved in development and evaluation of tenders for Wood and clients. - Responsible for development of several Excel and VBA based analysis tools.
- Part of the flexible and umbilical department, with main focus on installation of flexible pipe, umbilicals and structures. - Lead project engineer with package responsibility for planning and execution of subsea installation activities, in cooperation with teams of analysis and installation engineers. - Responsible for planning and risk management of installation activities and development of installation procedures. - Responsible for installation analyses of loadout, installation and tie-in of flexible pipe and umbilicals. - Responsible for design, procurement, follow-up and logistics of installation equipment. - Responsible for supervision, quality control and safety during installation activities offshore. - Participant in global, two-year trainee program (Acergy Graduate Engineer Development Scheme).
