With 10 years of experience in data and tech, I am passionate about building and managing data and AI platforms that enable trusted decision making, experimentation, and innovation. I have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, as well as multiple actuarial certifications. I currently lead the Data Platform product teams at Careem (an Uber copmany), the leading super app in the Middle East and North Africa region. At Careem, I oversee the development and delivery of the Events and Analytics, Experimentation, Feature Store, Machine Learning, and AI platforms, that serve millions of customers, captains, and merchants across the region. I work closely with engineering, data science, and business teams to define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and metrics, and to ensure alignment with the company's goals and values. I also coach, mentor and do some guest speaking to grow and give back to the community.
