I am a Geology postgraduate from Banaras Hindu University with a strong command over both theoretical concepts and practical applications in the field of Earth Sciences. Currently, I’m working as a SLS Field Specialist with GWDC Kuwait, where I’ve been actively involved in monitoring drilling operations and analyzing rock cuttings. My experience spans both inclined and vertical wells, allowing me to adapt to diverse operational challenges and effectively to exploration and drilling projects.
As a mudlogger, my job duties include: ▪ Actively monitoring drilling operations and promptly notifying the driller or rig floor of any sudden changes in drilling parameters. ▪ Collecting rock cuttings from the shale shaker and discussing lithology with the well-site geologist. ▪ Maintaining accurate records of the samples collected from the shale shaker. ▪ Analyzing hydrocarbon shows using gas chromatography. ▪ Creating master logs, composite logs, and daily geological reports. ▪ Performing tests such as Calcimetry, shale factor, and shale density to gain insights into subsurface formations. ▪ Maintaining and troubleshooting various mud logging sensors. ▪ Assisting with the rig-up and rig-down processes.
