Appointed as Project Manager within the Technology department. The entire innovation organization in Siemens Oil and Gas Offshore is reorganized, and standardization responsibility are transferred to the PLM’s (product lifecycle manager) in the global innovation organization. In this period, I have managed a large digitalization project in Siemens - the PILOT-E Smart Ladestasjon project; a yet non disclosed hydrogen fuelcell innovation project; and an internal project completely revising our proprietary DC system generator voltage regulator unit. Great variation, and fun to work with external customers, NMA and class societies again.
Appointed as Head the Standardization and Technical Management group within the Technology department. The position was created in order to secure and further strengthen the focus on standardization of existing and future portfolio. Standardization of the portfolio is key in order to secure positive profit for the Offshore and Marine Center.
Holding the position as head of Technology in Siemens Offshore and Marine Center. Focus areas for this entity of the business is innovation and R&D, but also standardisation and maintenance of the existing product and system portfolio within our global Offshore and Marine segment. This Technology organization consist of highly skilled professionals within their fields of competence, executing both teoretical and practical work in their workflow. Not only do we do research of new products and solutions, but we also build the prototypes and products locally and test these in the necessary test environment, providing a direct link between theory and practical result. This is a key success factor for competence development but also the variety needed for having fun at work! Our engineers are exposed to the complete value chain for a good idea to end up as a customer product in operation. Having the opportunity to lead and further develop this entity is very exciting, both in terms of my previous positions and areas of work during my carreer; but also for keeping myself updated on the latest technology and changes in the market.
