Passed out from IIT, Kanpur in 1975, in Metallurgical Engineering. I have been working as a foundry consultant since 1997. I have so far presented technical papers in different national foundry seminars. My technical papers have been accepted on the National and International level. I have Involved myself in solving rejection problems in different foundries in all these years. Points to Ponder: An IITian, Having over 45 years' Foundry Shop- floor Experience, Whose Technical Papers Have Been Accepted on National and International Levels, Who has solved Involved Rejection Problems in Foundries of Repute in Different States, Who is a Guest Faculty in Different Engineering Colleges including IIT's is one and only one in the Country and he is the Proprietor of'M/S Dongrey & Associates', i.e. myself. This was discussed in one of the Foundry Seminars. I worked at Kirloskar Brothers Limited, Kirloskarvadi for 10 years in their foundry and later at Tata Steel at Jamshedpur. Started foundry consultancy, which involved training to workmen, staff and officers of foundries. Also concentrated on rejection reduction and yield-improvement. As a matter of fact, a major part of my technical papers consisted of various case studies, depicting how diagnosis of rejection is a major factor. Involving all, i.e. workmen, staff and top echelon of an organization is important for overall expected results. Languages, for communication: Marathi, Hindi and English. First 23 years of my life were spent in Hindi speaking states like Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh(IIT, Kanpur).

Succeeded in solving intricate foundry problems in different states of the country. He still is invited to foundries for reducing rejection and related problems. He is a guest faculty in Engineering Colleges including IIT. Even in the present Covid social distancing, foundry consultancy for rejection reduction continues.
