London, England, United Kingdom
I have been working in the architecture and broader building industry since completing my Master’s degree. My work spans various sectors and countries, navigating their specific regulations. In 2007, I joined one of the UK’s leading architectural practices, the London office of Howells, where I worked under Design and Technical Director Reinhold Schmaderer. During my tenure of over 10 years, I primarily focused on London-based projects. Before transitioning to the residential sector, I gained experience in retail and mixed-use schemes, with projects in Russia and Poland. For the last 15 years, I have predominantly worked on UK residential schemes, covering RIBA stages 1 to 6 with particular emphasis on Stages 3-6. Over the last 20 years in the profession, I have had the opportunity to engage with high-end, uncompromising design, various procurement methods, construction sites, and demanding clients and contractors. I have been responsible for the early detailed design coordination, tender documentation, and delivery of both internal and external packages, as well as supporting contractors and clients in achieving practical completion. Understanding the nuances of various construction systems, construction detailing, associated regulations, and effective problem-solving will be the core of my curriculum. I was educated both in the UK and Poland.
