I hold a Ph.D. in Accounting (2025), with experience in auditing, controllership, and higher education. My work focuses on quantitative methods, financial markets, and corporate reporting, with strong interests in Finance, Technology, and Data Science. Currently, I serve as an advisor at the Conselho Regional de Contabilidade do Rio Grande do Sul (CRCRS), contributing to initiatives related to professional regulation, ethics, and the development of the accounting profession. This role allows me to bridge academic research with real-world regulatory and professional challenges. I hold a Master’s degree in Controllership and Accounting (2019) and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (2016) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. My professional background includes experience as an external auditor in both Big Four and smaller firms, as well as roles in the public sector. I am actively involved in research groups such as NETEC (UFSC), ContEx (UFRGS), and Governance, Compliance, and Auditing (UFRGS), focusing on IFRS, corporate disclosure, sustainability, gender equality, and credit cooperatives.
