Major focus was to assist customers, especially in SSA to adopt mechanization practices and become more productive in their farming operations. • Together with Global Strategic Marketing, our objective was to identify current portfolio gaps & find ways to fill those gaps with top quality and competitively priced solutions. • Prepare and deliver financial business case per product for Senior Leadership approval • Prepare and negotiate Supplier Agreement Documents for Senior Leadership approval • Partnered with third party manufacturers to source products, complimentary to JD products to meet the overall Region Ambition. • Manage all engineering, product verification and customer support activities in order to introduce the correct products in the market that would be driven by a profitable business model. During my time as John Deere Technician, I worked for Sentraal Wes in Bothaville. My main duties were to repair and maintain a wide variety of John Deere products sold in that area. I also had the privilege to train and develop two apprentices during my time in Bothaville who eventually became John Deere Master Technicians later in their careers.
