Matras Recycling Europe (MRE) recycles mattresses to reusable materials such as PU foam, Latex, metals and textiles. In my role as co-entrepreneur I have contributed to the current position of MRE as the most important player in this niche market in the Netherlands.
Valueplus develops new commercial applications from recycled materials. Raw materials retain their value through a high-quality level of reuse of products and materials. This reduces in a reduction of raw material consumption and waste. Examples of this are under flooring and furniture from recycled mattress ticking. Valueplus cooperates with recycling companies, manufacturers, sales and distribution partners, knowledge centers and universities.
