As an interpreter and translator I work for the National Criminal Investigation Department (KLPD), (judiciary) police, public prosecutor and courts, prisons, UWV, Ministry of Defence (Kon. Marechaussee), Dutch Institute of Forensic Psychiatry en Psychology (NIFP), National Immigration and Nationalisation Service (IND), notaries, advocacy, translation agencies and others, on various themes. I'm specialised in criminal law and I'm experienced in telephone interpreting (wiretaps) and international rogatory commissions. Real estate corporations in the Netherlands by law have a broad responsibility. They’re held responsible for (among others) the social cohesion in their vast rental and commercial properties. I coordinated the communication on social development in districts under the administration of the housing association. Main projects: development of tenant participation in various city areas, development of care centres for elderly people in cooperation with stakeholders like the municipality of Amsterdam, care providers and real estate developers.
The first 15 months I worked on internal communication regarding the internal reorganization of the municipality. Since 1 March 2007 I was advisor on external communication in an infrastructural project. I was the communication interface between the different stakeholders (population, Rijkswaterstaat, Schiphol Airport, Provincial government). Among other activities, I designed the strategic communication plan, I organized public discussions about the project impact assessment and I developed communication tools like website and various newsletters and brochures.
