In this role I support internal group that specializes in protocols and interface used throughout the company. We give guidance and expertise that need it throughout the company. Within this role I also became a member of the MIPI Alliance.
After being a team member, I became a lead engineer. This additional responsibility means leading hardware projects with usually 2-3 hardware engineers to develop a product. As a lead engineer, I am the primary point of communication and the person responsible between project managers and other engineering disciplines, such as mechanics, software and production engineers. In this role, In this role one is close to the electronics and tackles higher and complex system issues.
Next to being an Lead Engineer in the fall of 2023 I did corporate cost optimization project. The title of this project was “cross competence cost optimization for repetitive used Electronics parts”. Within this thesis different insight towards cost saving within Axis where detect and applied.
As a HW engineer team member I am responsible for designing and testing a camera. This teams usually consist of 2-3 members. Within this team I was responsible for doing part of the schematics and later also the corresponding HW verification testing. These tests consist of a high Frequency Image data signals 500Mhz to 1 GHz, Power verifications. But also, pre-compliance measurements for external certification like ESD, Burst, Conducted emissions & Radiated emissions.
• In this Master Thesis our goal was the development of a system for “Detection of human Micro-shivering through the means of a 77 GHz radar “. This involved building a test setup for measuring and simulating human skin vibration down to the micrometre range. The setup was built with a 77GHz radar module.
