I am the CEO of Appinio, the global AI-powered market research platform. Appinio was built on a simple but powerful idea: market research should not be slow, complex, or reserved for specialists. It should be accessible, fast, and embedded in the way companies make decisions every day. Today, Appinio is active in more than 190 markets, serves over 3,000 companies worldwide, and combines technology, consumer access, and research expertise to deliver real-time insights at scale. My role is to help lead Appinio into its next growth phase: scaling internationally, further developing the platform, strengthening our position in AI-powered consumer insights, and preserving the high-performance culture that made the company successful in the first place. Before joining Appinio, I was Chief Revenue Officer at Statista, responsible for global sales, marketing, customer success, and revenue operations. Over the past 25+ years, I have worked across digital business models including data-as-a-service, SaaS, adtech, advertising, content, mobile, M&A, and business innovation. At Bertelsmann and Gruner + Jahr, I held several senior leadership roles, including Chief Digital Officer of Gruner + Jahr, where I helped increase the digital revenue share from 10% to more than 40%. Along the way, I was involved in building the AppLike Group, acquiring Chefkoch, and selling Ligatus to Outbrain. I also serve as a member of the Board of Directors at Teads, a Nasdaq-listed company and global advertising platform. My professional focus has always been the same: finding strong business models, scaling them with the right people, and building the structures that allow ambitious teams to perform at their best. At Appinio, that mission continues — with a company, team, and product that I believe can play a defining role in the future of consumer insights.
