The Sotrasambandet bridge and tunnel system consists of 19 car and pedestrian underpasses, 23 tunnel portals, 22 bridges and viaducts, new four-lane motorways and 14 km of pavements and cycle paths. About 24 km of two-lane access roads will also be built. I was responsible, for the supervision, control, and execution of the New Sotra Bridge including all relative actions with the internal department and subcontractors. Reporting to the Construction manager.
Execution of 79 ground permanent anchors (10/11 std; two rows) and 250 dowels / 220-230mm (footbolt) installed at the Carlberg Site-SMS2A Project-Moss Execution of steel core pile, Bispegata, Oslo S, Folloline Sheet piles, 219mm / 273mm micropiles, Sjølyst Project, Oslo Jet grouting columns. Ny Nerlandsøy bru, 54 steel pile 1220mm/1016mm, vertical ground anchors. My duties include weekly reports, monthly BoQ report, contract review, project progress, weekly meetings with the client, approval of invoices. I reported to the project management.
BWH Immobilien as a city development company in Austria has decided to develop a complex housing project in the Tyrol area. My responsibilities were the cost analysis of the project, cost control and logistics of the demolition work, special foundations study and managing the execution of the project. Reporting to the Owner of the Project.
GAM-San José Environmental Sanitation sewerage system project in Costa Rica with more than 200km. As Senior Engineer of sewer collection system, I managed 10km open trench and 7km microtunneling with different sizes, DN600/1200mm (using Herrenknecht TBM´s) the North Zone and 12km of open trench (Dn-450mm-1000mm using Herrenknecht TBM´s) and 2.5 km of microtunnel of South Zone. I led and supported the proposal preparation and negotiated with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the work. The execution of work was successfully achieved under the original budget. We implemented improvements in the shaft construction techniques, as well as in the micro-tunnel schedule under the main schedule. My duties include weekly report, monthly report, contract review, project progress, weekly meetings with the client, approval of invoices. Reporting to the project director.
- San José Environmental Sanitation sewerage system project in Costa Rica. As Production Manager of sewer collection system, I led an international team of engineers and coordinated all activities such as, coordinated the logistics operation and make sure the quality control of materials. - The WWTP of Bahia Asuncion-Paraguay. The project interconnects 22km of sewer lines, through open trenching by gravity system and pump station systems (Dn-400mm) and 3 km of microtunneling (DN-1100mm). As Production Manager and specialist in special foundations construction, I led the WWTP foundation works, which comprised CFA piles. - WWTP Trinidad &Tobago, (Jul 2015-Jan 2016) The San Fernando WWTP it serves for 120.000 people. The Treatment Plant is founded on over 3,500 CFA piles. Additionally, 2 bioreactors, 4 clarifiers, pumping station, chlorination station with UV rays and an administrative building were also built. The open trench (7 km;Dn 900 mm) and the microtunnelling section (13 km;Dn 1200 mm) were executed at the same time as the construction of the WWTP. I led the special foundation construction of of the CFA piles. During this time we had 4 drilling rigs working simultaneously to reduce the construction time and comply with the budget.
