▪ Lead requirements gathering with multiple stakeholders to ensure that our TBS documentation supports departments and agencies in their delivery of technology solutions. ▪ Research tech debt accumulation in the Government of Canada, contributing to documentation that supports remediation. ▪ Transformed raw data from excel sheets to be useful data to discover legacy systems in use. ▪ Researched licensing model of vendors to discover potential lock-ins and suggested best practices to avoid any kind of lock-in. ▪ Built CRM solution using Microsoft Lists to track interactions of my team with other departments and/or other teams; elicited business requirements, collaborated on building the CRM solution, and tested it.
▪ Supervised crew of 5 officers and prioritized and delegated multiple operational demands based on priority to other officers based on their experience and proximity to the location; ensured logistics were optimal for team members to perform their regular tasks without letting a backlog affect the planned workload. ▪ Interviewed stakeholders and compiled information on events, to reach the core of the problem; followed up by providing clients with measures to secure the location and discourage any cascading events that might further escalate the situation. ▪ Collected evidence related to an educational institution incident, making a quick decision based on the information available to secure the location; took action to report it to emergency 911, photograph the evidence, prevent contamination of the incident site, and create logs of activities.
▪ Collaborated in a cross-functional team to re-platform a legacy system application in less than 3 months and helped manage enough time to carefully make decisions on the deployment tools. ▪ Acted as a liaison between clients, developers, and testers and made sure client’s requirements were being met. ▪ Elicited requirements by interviewing key stakeholders and completed requirements documentation needed for the project. ▪ Lead and/or assisted requirement sessions to facilitate the development lifecycle of an application. ▪ Communicated proactively (via meetings, presentations, documentation and correspondence) with the teams, clients, mentors, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough understanding of issues and progress. ▪ Identified effective solutions based on requirement sessions with clients and presented them by creating mockups using wireframing tools.
