Mechatronics engineering student with hands-on industry experience in CNC machining and fabrication. Passionate about legged robotics, actuator design, machine learning, and local AI development. On campus, I lead sustainability engineering projects with Engineers for a Sustainable World TMU and stay involved in student community initiatives.
• Led the design and construction of a tubular algae photobioreactor for campus decarbonization, managing 4 sub-teams across mechanical, electrical, programming, and research to deliver the system at a community engineering build event • Driving operations for a 3D filament recycling initiative to convert student design team waste into reusable filament, coordinating deployment of two systems in partnership with the IBZ and MUES • Leading the planning and development of an urban hydroponic vertical farming system designed for high-yield food production in small living spaces, in partnership with the IBZ • Spearheaded the growth of the TMU chapter from the ground up, including hiring initial student-led teams and coordinating logistics with partner student organizations • Attended ESWCON26 at the University of Texas at Austin, participating in industry-led sustainability workshops, learning from chapters across North America, and presenting the photobioreactor project at the poster session
• Planned and executed a week-long SumoBot hackathon for 48 students, covering CAD, 3D printing, and programming culminating in a live robot competition • Co-organized technical workshops on Arduino and embedded systems, AI and LLMs, and SolidWorks for the mechatronics student community • Managed event logistics including scheduling, abstracts, room bookings, and coordination with operations teams • Supported a Design Zone outreach tour for visiting Tech University of Korea students, providing insights into capstone projects and program facilities • Championed a local high school facility tour as a community outreach initiative, introducing students to the school facilities and Design Zone teams. • Organized a Marvel Rivals tournament at the school's Red Bull Gaming Hub as a student engagement and community-building event
• Serve as a liaison between the first-year engineering cohort and the FYEO, advocating for student needs and contributing feedback to shape academic and community initiatives • Organize and lead events, deliver presentations to students, parents, and faculty, and support student transition into university through summer orientation programming • Mentor first-year engineering students through the MyEngMentor program, providing guidance and support throughout their first semester • Assist students through email and social media channels, addressing questions and connecting them with relevant resources • Contributed to the annual Road to Co-op conference, helping students build professional networks and develop strategies for securing internships
•Collaborated with the First-Year Engineering Office to plan and execute seasonal events including exam de-stressors and community-building activities for the first-year engineering cohort •Organized and hosted group study sessions during critical exam periods to support collaborative learning and academic performance •Created and contributed to content aimed at improving student motivation and enhancing the academic and social experience within the program
• Diagnosed and resolved a CNC lathe startup failure through electrical schematic interpretation and relay fault tracing, restoring machine operation within hours and preventing costly downtime on high-value OEM parts • Assisted in rigging, positioning, and crane operations for assemblies up to 100 tons using overhead cranes and engineered anchor-point systems, maintaining a zero-incident safety record • Performed dimensional inspection and post-processing on large-scale machined components to tight tolerances, supporting quality assurance across multiple OEM projects in aerospace, defense, and energy sectors • Interpreted engineering drawings and GD&T specifications to support CNC and conventional machining workflows in a high-mix, low-volume production environment • Fabricated and inspected precision hardware components and prepared custom shipping containers for safe transport of large machined parts
• Developed and tested responsive web applications with a focus on functionality and user experience • Optimized client websites for search engine visibility, improving traffic and online exposure for small and large business clients • Engaged directly with small business clients to scope and sell web development contracts, delivering tailored solutions to meet individual business needs
