Responsibilities: As a PeopleSoft DBA, involved in this project for supporting analysis, enhancements and bug fixing. · PeopleSoft DEMO Database creation for HRMS 9.1. · Change Assistant installation and configuration. · Responsible for doing the plan required for the Final Cut Over for the Upgrade. · Peopletools upgrade. · PeopleSoft application upgrade. · Apply MPs , Bundles, Updates etc. · COBOL compiler installation on UNIX and Windows. · Taking Cold Backup during the upgrade and did cloning activity to create a different database. · Installation of Web server (WebSphere 7.0.0.0.7), Weblogic, PIA, People Tools, Tuxedo etc. Apply Patches related Web Servers. Apply Rolling Patches on Tuxedo. · Creating domains in App Server, Process scheduler. · Configuring SSO, LDAP, Integration Broker,SMTP, REN etc. Setting Up Reverse Proxy etc. · Involved in tuning the SQL statements related to Data conversion steps for better performance. · Involvement in database refresh. · Performed system audits and database audits, used reports to correct discrepancies in the database level. · Tuning the SQLs written in the SQR & Application Engine as the report/processes was taking hours to run. · Migrations of Customizations and patches (different objects) from one environment to other. · Production Release. · Apply Rolling Patches on Tuxedo. · Apply People tools minor patch set. · Project Migrations from one database to other. · Working With Oracle Database and MS SQL Server.
