◦ FCV Pinning: Led a cross-functional team to design and implement a new tool allowing users to test new MongoDB versions and easily downgrade if needed. Resulted in a substantial increase in user confidence when upgrading. ◦ EOL Improved Transparency and Automation Manager: Spearheaded enhancements to MongoDB’s ”End of Life” (EOL) process by automating cluster tracking, extension dates, and custom-paced auto-upgrades. ◦ MentorHer Mentor/Mentee Matching Application: Developed a web application for the MentorHer and MDBWoman affinity group that uses MongoDB AI Vector Search, Atlas Triggers, Python, and React to match mentor with mentee based on user preferences. Used by 400+ employees ◦ Azure Dsv5 Migration: Led and orchestrated the seamless transition of over 10,000 virtual machines onto the new Dsv5 hardware series, leveraging Java and React to craft an external maintenance tool. This initiative yielded significant enhancements in network speeds and cluster performance.
◦ Affinity Group Manager Web Application: Developed a Fullstack web application that automates affinity group attendance, and manages members, workshops, and calendar invites using AWS Amplify, React, Lambda functions, SES, DynamoDB, GraphQL, and Cognito. ◦ Demo/Pilot: Conducted play with sessions amongst affinity group users to improve user experience ◦ Impact: Web application was successfully pushed into production and is now internally used by affinity groups. All users surveyed agreed web application substantially improved group organization
◦ Developed a fullstack debugger tool in Java and JavaScript to help Technical Support Engineers (TSE’s) diagnose customer database errors and securely grant them 24-hour read only access. Attended numerous workshops on cloud development, Realm, and the MongoDB product as part of the MongoDB world convention ◦ Accelerated the debug process for TSE’s and customers
◦ Created AWS lambda functions and Cloudformation templates to prevent against cryptocurrency attacks and to protect users’ funds against adversaries ◦ Developed an internal Python app managing employee permissions, utilizing the google API to query data ◦ Impact: streamlined the process to manage employee permissions and roles, and successfully protected users’ funds against extraction attacks
◦ Developed Python web scraping script which parsed html and JSON. Stored & queried this information in a PostgreSQL database ◦ Created Python cron job that would consistently query from the database, and update and download ROMS using AWS SQS, S3, and a Slackbot ◦ Impact: Thousands of ROMS have been downloaded and stored, heavily increasing efficiency
