Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
QA Engineer specialized in designing and developing automated and semi-automated test frameworks for document identification and verification solutions (ID cards, passports, licenses). I work closely with development teams to ensure software quality, stability, and reliability across complex real-world scenarios. My role focuses on identifying critical defects, validating edge cases, and stress-testing the system at multiple levels, including Web APIs, native DLLs, and ActiveX components, ensuring consistent behavior across different scanners, configurations, and environments.
In this role, I was responsible for a range of client-focused activities, including developing user interfaces, utilizing web tools to identify security vulnerabilities, conducting penetration testing, programming phishing simulations, and automating tasks with Splunk SOAR Automation Broker.
I successfully led an innovation project in collaboration with ESADE University, IED Design School, and Aigües de Barcelona, with development taking place in both Barcelona and Geneva. As part of a multidisciplinary team, we designed an innovative solution to help the city of Barcelona address the challenges posed by drought, combining technology, sustainability, and urban planning strategies.
