I’m an incoming Mendoza student entrepreneur passionate about empowering young girls through sports, leadership, and community. I’m the Founder and CEO of Mini Riders Camps, a youth camp that I’ve grown to a multi-state program with several locations in Utah, Southern California, and Texas. I manage everything from operations and curriculum to marketing, franchising, partnerships, and created a scholarship program to support riders who need financial assistance. I’ve interned with Texas NICA, authored a children’s book promoting girls’ empowerment, and received the 2024-25 National GRiT Award for my work advancing gender equity in cycling. I’m also an active student leader involved in student government, multiple sports, and community service.
- Founded summer camp to teach young girls mountain biking (https://www.miniriderscamps.com/) - Expanded nationally from Austin to Southern California, Utah, and 4 other franchises in Texas - Created LLC, secured insurance, published website and social media, ran marketing, drafted legal docs, developed curriculum, organized camp logistics, scouted trail routes, hired counselors, coached campers - Designed scholarship program to provide tuition and bikes to needy campers - Donated 10% of proceeds to GRiT (organization dedicated to growing gender equity in mountain biking) - Productized camps to create franchise program to continue to grow the business and community
- Gained hands-on exposure to venture capital operations in the biotech sector, evaluating early-stage medical research and its path to commercialization - Participated in partnership meetings with the American Cancer Society, assessing prospective portfolio companies based on team strength, funding, regulatory feasibility, and patient impact - Built a working understanding of capitalization tables, venture financing structures, valuation trade-offs, and dilution from both founder and investor perspectives - Shadowed senior leadership across operations, partnerships, and medical affairs, gaining insight into contracts, financial management, FDA regulation, and cross-sector collaboration
Authored children's book “Gritty Gabby Rides a Mountain Bike” to encourage more young girls to try mountain biking. The work includes themes of grit, empowerment, and community. - Created race-readiness checklist, race schedule, and first-time racer guide - Built marketing strategy targeting elementary riders and female participation to boost league growth - Delivered feedback on and revised league rules - Published articles and managed state-wide website - Produced Instagram videos, flyers, and social media posts - Co-designed 2025 State Championship race course through digital mapping and on-site evaluation
