Manage personal tasks for patient such as calls for appointments, insurance, cooking, cleaning, assisting with filling out and mailing or uploading documents, and help the patient to take his medications. Assist in better health and lifestyle to help with mental health as well as physical health. Assist in being prepared to have emergency resources available for use in case of a natural disaster or any type of emergency situation.
Assist in taking care of a familiar patient who needs assistance in their health. I cook, clean, run errands, assist in reminding the patient to take medications and other basic housekeeping needs and medical assistance needed for the patient. I assisted in managing and record keeping of patients diet, weight, overall health.
As an eBay Seller, I learned how to source and photograph items, post listings, optimize listings for SEO (Search Engine Optimization), ship items domestically and internationally, handle customer service issues, manage inventory, hire help, and promote listings through various mediums like social media. Customer Service is often used via email, where I managed all customer requests. I set prices for items, created labels and more. I sold items online to eBay Customers and managed emails. If there was ever an issue I would include a free gift for the customer's satisfaction. I would always be sure to keep in contact with my customers to answer any of their questions about their items, such as shipping the items, the condition of the merchandise, and the time frame. I would check the condition of the items before selling the items, then I took pictures and posted the pictures on eBay to sell to consumers, often I would market or advertise the products on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. If there are any authentic items I would be sure to include any authenticity documents including proof of the serial numbers of certain products to be sold for example various Guerlain Products (face creams and moisturizers). There would be options to bargain with customers at a reasonable price. As for bids, it was not often used but it was sometimes an option for selling certain products of higher value.
There was a Summer Work Program at Desert Rose Adult High School that paid students to take a Course and to work on the campus as Custodians. In this course we learned to use Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop on the Mac. We created Flyers, Business Cards, Designed Envelopes, Created Logos & Banners, we learned to advertise for businesses by using the tools we had to create just about anything we wanted. We also created our own personal Binders, where we Designed our covers, including a design on the spine of the binder & on the back of it. Then we printed out all of the work we did from the Adobes and kept it in our binders like a portfolio. We would learn to create t-shirts too from a big machine. A lot of memorization was needed to create these projects and being able to be a keen listener, observer, and fast learner.
A lot of cleaning was involved such as mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, sweeping, vacuuming, Steaming, Scrapping Gum off Desks & Groundskeeping (Garden Work). I had to move a lot of furniture in the school and be able to at least lift 50lbs or more depending on the object. There was a lot of transporting Furniture and trash on the Golf carts with no roof to be stored or sent to different locations of the school. I had to us hand carts to stroll furniture / Objects such as tables, file cabinets, and few big desks to its place. I handled harsh chemicals and cleaning liquids to sanitize the floors and wooden or glass furniture's on campus.
