Hi, I’m Arav 👋 I’m a Founding Engineer at Item (YC F25) building the agent-first CRM for businesses, working through agentic architecture, persistent memory (dreaming 🛌💭), self-improving context loops, and product features to give more value to customers. I was previously a Forward Deployed Engineer at HappyRobot (YC S23), working on enterprise ready AI workers that keep the supply chain moving. I sat close to customers, deployed agents in production, and helped turn messy real world operations into clean, automated workflows. My background is in AI systems, ML infra, cloud architecture, a formal computer science education... aaaand a little bit of vibecoding 😅. I like taking LLMs, filesystem-based sandboxes, embeddings with vectorDBs, and agentic harnesses and wiring them into products that real people actually use. Less noise, more shipped code. I care a lot about ownership, craftsmanship, and being a good human on the team. Give me a hard problem, a tight feedback loop, and people who are hungry to build, and I am happy. Outside of work you can usually find me skiing, playing soccer, lifting, or planning the next trip. I like staying active and keeping myself healthy.
