I am a Boise State University graduate with a degree in Entrepreneurial Management and a minor in Spanish. During my time at BSU, I was a sports marketing intern with Boise State Athletics, a volunteer English teacher to refugees at the English Language Center, the President of Beta Gamma Sigma, and a Dean's List student with the highest honors. Now, I am participating in the NALCAP program in which I am an assistant English teacher in Valencia, Spain, aiding students in grades 1-6.
- Support English language instruction for primary school students (Grades 1-6) in classrooms of approximately 20 students. - Design and lead interactive speaking activities to improve students' oral communication and confidence in English. - Create and implement English-language projects aligned with curriculum objectives and student proficiency levels. - Develop and deliver presentations on American culture to promote cultural exchange. - Assist students during English activities, providing individual and small-group support.
- Provided attentive service to approximately 100-150 guests per shift in a fast-paced dining environment. - Delivered detailed descriptions of menu items and wine selections to support informed guest choices. - Maintained a high level of customer service while managing multiple tables efficiently. - Communicated clearly with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate and timely service.
- Collaborated with a team of 12 interns to support marketing, promotion, and in-game operations for athletic events including football, basketball, volleyball, and more. - Designed promotional materials using Adobe Photoshop, including flyers, video board graphics, and social media advertisements. - Operated the video board during live volleyball, basketball and softball games, ensuring the timely display of player statistics, replays and marketing graphics during breaks. - Wrote advertising scripts and developed run-of-show logs used by the MC and camera crews, during live events. - Curated music playlists that enhanced the in-game atmosphere and increased fan engagement. - Assisted in the execution of marketing campaigns for the highest attended football game in program history, drawing 37,711 attendees. - Served as lead intern for softball, guiding and training interns on run-of-show logs and in-game execution.
