Used Moldex3D software to troubleshoot problematic molds, find best gate locations, gate design, and improving initial part shape for dimensional stability. Pre-production planning: Conducting design reviews to ensure preliminary design is tooling feasible. Research and development: Introduction of new injection processes including chemical foaming agents, color dosing, and bio-based materials.
Develop pre-production injection molding processes to meet target cycle times, zero defect, and quality standards. Control labor, material usage, and cost in kaizens.
Set molds, maintain, and troubleshoot molding machines for full production. Supervise, train, and communicate with all team members, management, engineering, and maintenance to attain daily process targets for productivity and maintain 5S.
