As a full cycle cooperate recruiter, I manage the recruiting process from the opening of the requisition, creating postings, posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer process and background checks to on-boarding. I have hired all levels of talent, from entry level to executives including administrative, clerical, finance, fundraising professionals, compliance and safety positions, investment analysts and laborers.
After nineteen years at Boys Town, eleven and a half of those in recruiting, I was able to share all of the positive and wonderful reasons why someone should invest their career here. Now I have joined Development & Fundraising! I still get to talk about the amazing mission of Boys Town, but now encourage people to invest a piece of themselves in a different way.
• Screen, interview, and select candidates for referral to hiring manager • Ensure compliance of contractual requirements for various programs and states • Research and identify key target talent in geographic region and industry • Explore new ideas, concepts and ways of thinking to solve problems • Ensure professional and appropriate handling of confidential information • Facilitate Interview Training and Leadership Training on Home Campus and on Site, traveling as needed • Present history, programs, policies, and Professionalism training at Orientation • Create advertisements, coordinate with vendors regarding participation in career fairs, and negotiate contracts with agents of job posting websites • Participated in Supervisory Compensation Committee to point jobs based on job description as trained by Silver Stone • Attend workshops and seminars on Diversity and Inclusion, as well Generational Differences • Collaborate with IT department to develop tracking systems for Recruitment
