Cybersecurity Engineering VP with increasingly responsible roles within Cisco Security. Currently managing multiple cybersecurity products with annual revenues exceeding $1B. Overall team size reporting directly into me is 700+. Accomplishments include driving significant ARR growth at scale, improvement of engineering metrics such as availability to 4 9s, and evangelizing and delivery of GenAI. I lead all functional areas of engineering, including software architecture, development, quality assurance and engg, SRE, DevOps and PMOs. I started as engineering VP for Duo Security. Duo is an identity security market leader, with over 30M licensed users and 2B+ auths per month handled by our SaaS-only offering. Duo functionality includes MFA (multi factor authentication), SSO (single sign on), passwordless, and IDP (identity provider). Earlier in 2024 I also added on engg responsibilities for Cisco Identity Intelligence (https://www.cisco.com/site/us/en/solutions/security/identity-intelligence). This adds ITDR (Identity Threat Detection and Response) and ISPM (Identity Security Posture Management) capabilities. Later in 2024, I took on additional teams - the Cisco ISE (https://www.cisco.com/site/us/en/products/security/identity-services-engine) and Access Manager engineering teams. ISE is deployed at many enterprises (2B+ endpoints), and provides network visibility, posture, access control and security. Access Manager is a 1.0 product built from the ground up, providing access management functionality for Meraki. Most recently (Sept 2025) the Cisco Vulnerability Management product also moved into my org: https://www.cisco.com/site/us/en/products/security/vulnerability-management/index.html New responsibilities include network threat detection and response and email security teams, each with triple digit $M revenue. I also lead the platform used by multiple products for FedRamp, and the team driving Anthropic Mythos related work.
VP/GM responsible for engineering plus product management of VMWare's public cloud products, including CloudHealth (public cloud financial management), SecureState (public cloud security, focussed on CSPM, KSPM, CIEM, UEBA and CNAPP), and the next generation public cloud operations portfolio. Led innovation, scale and quality improvements that led to healthy YOY growth at triple dight $M ARR. My team also owns the core foundational platform components underpinning the new Aria solution release that stitches together a seamless solution across all products of the broader $2B BU. Also drove left shift to developers/product led growth initiatives, such as the new freemium offering for Secure State. Prior role included VP/GM of $1B+ portfolio that included monitoring, observability, operations management and the new cloud scale log analytics product. Accomplishments include moving an on-premise product to one of the more successful SaaS products at VMware.
I headed up the engineering teams (dev, QE and ops) for multiple products. Built a new 1.0 SaaS solution from the ground up. This became one of the most successful new services built from scratch. Identified product portfolio gaps, and drove an acquisition to fill the gap. SaaS, AI, ML.
