Encouraging, compassionate, and relational pastor and chaplain. Church planter, Chaplain, ordained Pastor/Minister (with Christian and Missionary Alliance) and developer of people and ministries. My desire is to use my gifts and experiences to help others become all that God desires them to be. Extensive experience providing pastoral care and emotional and spiritual support in a variety of settings (churches, in patient and in home hospice, prisons, retirement communities, assisted living, skilled nursing and hospitals). 5 units of C.P.E. (Clinical Pastoral Education) and ordination in good standing with international denomination. Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills and developed listening skills. Experience starting and leading new ministries groups and programs from the ground up as well as strengthening and growing established ministries programs and projects. Experience casting vision, strategic planning, problem solving, mentoring,developing and raising up leaders.
We are re-starting a 180 yr old historic church in S.E. Atlanta and re-focusing the church as an authentic, multi-ethnic church family where all are welcome just as they are! www.tannersbaptistchurch.org
– Lead multi-ethnic small group (Life Group) – Help lead compassion care ministry (Compassion Team) to seniors and hospice patients in the area. – Provide pastoral care support for church members in support of the Pastoral Care Pastor. – Active in outreach programs. – Involved in children’s ministries.
Provided emotional and spiritual support to patients an their family and friends where e er they reside.
Reknewed and revitalized one of the Primary oldest church in Clayton County that was dying and close to closing, into a multi-ethic, mili-generatiional church that impacted, reached and better reflected its community.
