With extensive experience and expertise, I am currently providing an array or senior advisory and consulting services to institutions and organisations dedicated to the training and education of personnel, capabilities building and models organisation in the defence sector. In doing so, I am able to advise executive leadership teams on making strategic and well-informed decisions regarding organisational development. Within this capacity, I maintain up to date knowledge of world affairs focusing on latest developments in Defence issues and in quality assurance products.
I was appointed to this position to conduct analysis of HQ staff to champion high performance of staff. In doing so, I established, developed, and maintained effective liaisons with internal and external stakeholders, representing Office of Commander, as required. At the same time, I owned responsibility for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating policy documents and briefing talking points for commander. Some of my proudest achievements from this time include: • Received highly favourable feedback for effective training and mentoring of a newly formed team. • Oversaw end-to-end development of new staff organisation, including new personnel functions and job descriptions. • Prepared and delivered new training and education plans and programs for personnel in operations, logistics, infrastructure, communication, and control system network functions. • Enabled first level quality assurance products and documentation that was readily approved by commander.
In this role, I oversaw coordination of operational activities for mission area and deputized for Chief in event of absence. In effect, I provided guidance and direction to execution of activities designed to influence both current and future operations. I was also responsible for supervising preparation of periodic reports and returns. I also initiated planning activities for outreach operations; allocated critical resources for agency priorities; and verified translations of mission operational objectives. Some of my most significant contributions include: • Acquired significant knowledge in corporate operations as a key contributor to organisation's Military Capability Study. • Entrusted to perform multifaceted duties in the fields of strategic dialogue and operational milestones after demonstrating continual diligence and ability to foster mutually beneficial relations. • Instrumental in assisting department develop and deploy a new monitoring and reporting system that boosted efficiency of operational processes and performance.
During this time, I supervised development and implementation of all phases of operational planning for current operations involving management decision making. Effectively, I led collaborative activities with cross-functional leaders to conduct analysis of current operations. I also synchronised tactical operations, movements, and maneuverers and developed training programme for divisional training initiatives. Some of my most memorable achievements include: • Commended by senior leadership for delivering a comprehensive training cycle for international deployment of missions at division headquarters national and international operational environment. • Achieved specific objectives, meeting and exceeding several complex and time-bound tasks.
Here, I reviewed, analysed, and interpreted policies, directives, doctrines, and regulations to assess impact on Force Command HQ and corresponding land forces of NATO's Force Structure. I also advised senior leaders on conceptual, doctrinal command and control issues whilst holding concurrent responsibility for coordinating necessary actions for various functional areas. Some of my proudest achievements to date include: • Succeeded in orchestrating a complete revision of standard operating procedures and other specialised instructions for daily functional activities at area headquarters and during deployment for NATO Deployable Joint Staff Element concept. • Contributed to the planning of four major operations that affected NATO's deployable ready force and their ability to achieve operational objectives.
