Anushri is a Product Manager at Advanced Sterilization Products (Fortive) with a passion for innovating the next generation of healthcare products. A graduate of the University of Washington Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate program, with Minors in Global Health and Entrepreneurship, she is motivated to make an impact in global health through the intersection of engineering, healthcare, and public policy. Anushri firmly believes that quality healthcare is a fundamental human right, and she advocates for universal access to healthcare services regardless of socio-economic status or geographic location. At Advanced Sterilization Products, she focuses on developing technology for sterilization monitoring in the Sterile Process Development to help reduce hospital-acquired infections. She recognizes the crucial role of effective sterilization monitoring in ensuring patient safety as part of infection control. Anushri approaches challenges with a creative problem-solving mindset, fueled by a spirit of entrepreneurship. Consumer Experience Product Researcher for Philips Oral Healthcare’s Innovation & Product Research Center. Product researcher and “voice-of-customer” on cross-functional projects, covering function development, value proposition development, product development, and launch validation. • Develop new value propositions for in close collaboration with global partners in marketing and design, tailored to multiple international markets and target customer segments. • Specification of customer and user requirements and guiding their translation to technical requirements in close collaboration with various engineering and regulatory functions.
Designed and executed usability research and testing protocols for Class 3 regulated device [AEDs, Defibrillators, accessories] hardware and software components in collaboration with global team. Conducted consumer interviews.
- Wrote and executed validation procedures to test software in AEDs and Defibrillators. - Trained in basic regulatory and Good Document Practices for the function and development of Class 3 Medical Devices.
Design of a Mechanical Backboard to Improve Pediatric CPR in conjunction with Seattle Children’s Hospital (SCH). Granted $6,500 from the Murdock Foundry for prototype development. Administered usability tests with clinicians at SCH and delivered presentations to medical staff.
Designed graduation gift bundles for UW students as part of the UW Entrepreneurship Capstone Program. Developed pricing strategies and marketing collateral, conducted P&L analyses, facilitated agreements with local businesses. Conducted over 120 customer interviews, sold over $5,000 of product, and organized markets for UW start-ups.
Public Relations Chair for the UW Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES). Advertise events hosted by the University of Washington Biomedical Engineering Society for the undergraduate, graduate, and faculty populace of the UW Department of Bioengineering. Create graphical advertisements, manage event photography, and run social media accounts for UW BMES. Encourage communication between officers and students of different cohorts. Ensure that students are aware of academic and social opportunities at the university.
