Director of a newly formed part of HMRC's Chief Digital and Information Officer team that is responsible for: 1) Innovation - creating a new innovation culture in CDIO and HMRC exploring the art of the possible with technology in order to solve real business problems facing HMRC now and in the future, learning from and working with the best that the public and private sector has to offer. 2)Enterprise architecture and Architectural standards and strategy - driving forward an agile, forward looking enterprise architecture capability that is reactive to the needs of HMRC and its many customers 2)User Centred Design and Research including wider standards and strategy - applying the digital insight and skills to services across HMRC for both internal and external customers using Service design and granular custoemr insight to deliver outstanding services for all users.
Built HMRC's Digital Delivery centre network throughout the UK to 7 centres with over1200 people. Responsible for the building and support of HMRC's user centric, digital, front end services including it's Mobile App using largely Open Source tools and modern agile, CI/CD delivery methods (scrum and kanban).
