Member of the ABB Electrification ($14bn, 50,000+ people) Executive Team, reporting to the Business President. Leading the following teams for the ABB Electrification Business globally: - Strategy & Business Development, incl. portfolio mgmt. and M&A - Corporate Venture Capital: ABB Technology Ventures for Electrification ($20M+ p/a) - Business & Competitive Intelligence - Open Innovation, incl. startup collaborations and incubation - Ecosystem & Partnerships - Sustainability
- Deployed Electrification 2025 Strategy (defined in the previous role) including M&A, partnerships, key organic growth initiatives, regional growth boosters and active portfolio management (e.g. divestment of Solar Business, bolt-on acquisitions) - Drove Electrification Business digital transformation: ABB Ability platform, SaaS offerings, partner ecosystem, digital ventures and start-up incubators - Ran the CVC activities in equivalent of ~$80mn fund to execute investments in start-ups and innovation collaborations - In charge of the Sustainability program deployment - Supported Business President on strategic topics for ABB Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and Investors
