- Coordinates, plans and delivers early outreach youth programming and initiatives to promote the value of post-secondary education - Works with schools, teachers and students to develop skills required for successful transition in a post-secondary education environment related to financial literacy and career outcome planning
Primary point of contact for International Students at Lakehead University. Facilitates student mobility programs, provides referrals to services to assist with academic, social, and cultural issues and to increase student success, transition, mobility and retention. Additionally, assesses the needs of international Students and helps develop strategies to resolve issues.
- Coordinate the practicum placements for students of the Masters of Public Health programs including liaising with students, soliciting placements, liaising with host agencies to finalize project arrangements, affiliation agreements, WEPA forms, and other administrative details to secure suitable placements - Provide administrative support to the Department of Health Sciences regarding; admissions process; scheduling; employment forms; and developing and maintaining promotional and student success planning database for the MPH programs and the MHSc programs.
