Electrotecnical Engineer, with extensive and diversified experience ( more than 40 years) in operations and energy. Started his professional carreer in the chemical industry in 1979. Has been member of the Ordem dos Engenheiros (Portuguese Engineers Acreditation Office) since 1980. Was a member of energy working groups such as the APIGCEE ( Association of large energy consumers in Portugal), AEGE ( Spanish association of large energy consumers ) and FEIQUE (Federation of the Spanish chemical industry). Coordinated the Associación Nacional de Electroquimica ( Espanha), from jan 2016 to dec 2017 and was a member of the board of directors of FEIQUE, from jan 2016 to dec 2017. Was a member of two iberian Euro Chlor technical working groups, from 1992 to 2002.
