Corporate venture capital platform within Trend Micro, investing in cybersecurity, cloud-native, and infrastructure technologies. I oversaw the operational and financial foundation of the fund, served in the Investment Committee and on several boards of the investment portfolio. Supported the hypergrowth period in the Corn-Milling BU co-owning P&L, coordinated and led financial support for HFCS and Meat antidumping trials, took over Admin Controllership and led finance strategic projects in the country. Corn Milling Hypergrowth & CAPEX/Terminal Enablement • Enabled step-change scale by owning CAPEX budget governance, cost controls, and project supervision for the transfer terminal in Parque Industrial Atitalaquia, Hidalgo (construction execution owned separately). • Supported hypergrowth from ~30 pipe-trucks/month to ~300 railcars/month, co-owning outcomes with BU leadership and Miami management. • Led ERP work in the BU (ADAM customization; later JDE migration), strengthening landed-cost and import accounting and improving controls. Trade Defense & Strategic Projects (Public, high-profile cases) • Central role in Cargill’s HFCS anti-dumping defense: reconstructed cost and transactional history across multiple U.S. plants and Mexican operations to support counsel/regulatory submissions. • Led financial/operational backbone for U.S. beef (meat) anti-dumping case; helped secure industry-leading outcome and convert regulatory pressure into competitive advantage.
