I manage the Global Development Tools team with the goal to create state-of-art Hardware and Software Tools at support of the life cycle of the electronic systems embedded into home appliance products. The Team therefore contributes to the specification and design of the most innovative and advanced products launched in home-appliance market by Electrolux and AEG brands.
Responsible for Tools at support of electronics development to be used cross product categories and cross regions, with the goal to: • react quickly to market needs: simplify, speed-up and improve the delivery of electronics • reduce electronics complexity: promote standardization and support a global unified electronics architecture • enhance decision making: make available to AI processing the huge quantity of data coming from our appliances during development, testing and validation • enhance serviceability: simplify service and maintenance of connected appliance
Responsible for the architecture of the electronics system through the management of: • requirements gathering from technical and non-technical stakeholders • translation of requirements into technical specifications and robust system design with the goal to develop a unified electronic architecture characterized by attributes of Scalability, Flexibility and Focus on customer’ needs in order to reduce complexity and contribute to the achievement of the company target of cost reduction.
Systems Engineering Team Leader for the electronic systems part of Food Preparation appliances (ovens, hobs and hoods). Responsible for a Team of 14 people distributed geographically in 3 locations in Europe. Goal of the team is to gather requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholder and translate the requirements into technical specification to be provided to the development team for implementations. Responsible for ensuring the Team is motivated and committed to deliver at high quality standards in line with company targets. Promote the continuous improvement of the Team, its talents growth and make sure any gap in performance or quality is properly identified and addressed.
