I am the founding partner of Zaller Law Group, PC, and an active advisor, investor, and board member across multiple companies in the hospitality, technology, and professional services sectors. I am also a co-founder of Scaled Comp, a workforce data analytics platform that transforms complex employment class action and PAGA data into clear, strategic insights for employers and their counsel. In addition, I serve as general counsel, board member, and founding partner of Prosper Company, which hosts two leadership conferences each year for hospitality executives and operators. Through my law practice, I advise and defend California employers navigating the state’s complex employment and business laws. With more than 20 years of experience in employment defense litigation, I have represented companies across industries—including restaurant and hospitality, tech, hotel, and professional services—in wage and hour class and PAGA actions, wrongful termination, harassment, unfair competition, and related business disputes. Beyond litigation, I work closely with owners and executive teams on proactive compliance, compensation strategy, and operational risk management. Anthony Zaller is an employment defense litigation attorney and founding partner of Zaller Law Group, PC, an employment and business law firm. Anthony is primarily focused on helping businesses and entrepreneurs navigate California’s complex employment and business laws, he advises his clients through litigation, governmental agency investigations, and legal compliance issues. He has litigated wage and hour class actions for claims of unpaid wages, missed breaks, unpaid overtime, unreimbursed business expenses, and Private Attorney General Act ("PAGA") representative actions, among other issues. Anthony has also successfully litigated many single plaintiff employment cases including claims of wage and hour violations, breach of contract, wrongful termination, sexual and racial harassment, discrimination, unfair competition, and misappropriation of trade secrets and embezzlement. Recently, Anthony has successfully tried a four-day arbitration for claims brought by two employees against a franchisee for a national restaurant brand. After a successful outcome in arbitration, his team won a motion to dismiss remaining Private Attorney General Act representative claims and recovered costs for client. Anthony speaks to national audiences about employment law updates, best practices, and management training.
