Taipei–Keelung Metropolitan area
Twenty-five years running aviation, offshore wind, and infrastructure operations across Asia—in sectors where the line between civil and strategic is rarely clean and accountability to government stakeholders is ever-present. I am fluent in Mandarin and based in Taiwan. I have led country operations and P&Ls, opened and stabilised new markets, and worked closely with regulators, clients, and government counterparts across highly regulated, capital-intensive sectors—including at Marubeni, Siemens-Gamesa, ENERCON, Boston Energy, and now Apex Aviation. Much of my experience involves operating under scrutiny, managing risk, and making decisions where reliability, safety, and continuity matter more than speed. I am most effective in roles that combine commercial responsibility with operational accountability—particularly where civilian organisations carry strategic weight and credibility must be earned locally over time. I have served as a Founding Director of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan since 2004 and as a registered Warden with the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei since 2014. Both reflect the same thing: a long term commitment to this market and the relationships that make it function.
