The VTC Engineer is also responsible for providing backup to the VTC Technicians to Ensure delivery of world-class video meetings. Performs technical surveys to support AV/VTC integration Projects. Troubleshoots configuration and code related issues with AV/VTC systems.
Windows 10 migration – Run scrip to backup/restore data, run script for in place install (64bit – 64bit). Run script wipe/replace Windows 10 (32bit – 64bit) Active Directory to add, move, delete, computer and users, reset password, change computer name, Use SCCM to install critical updates and Software management, support user for 48 hours for questions/problems.
Contracted thur Aetna Insurance: responsible for uninstall/move and install desktop/laptop from one location to another, backup user’s old workstation, restore on new desktop/laptop. Use RTS (Remote Technician Support) to remote into user desktop/laptop to back up user profile, then restore on users new desktop/laptop, Use Service Now to make task on new hardware and ticket management. Use PC tracking to account for return hardware. Use Active Directory for workstation management, reset password, and lookup computer information. Use autobld to change computer name, mirror users software on old workstation to new workstation. Use Software management and the APP Store to install software
Windows 10 Migration – Windows 7 to Windows 10 - responsible for setup desktops, in training rooms with 20 + desktops every 2 months, replace old 6305 desktop/thin clients with new Windows 7desktops. Replace old Windows 7 desktop (Virtual Machines – lite builds) with Windows 10 (Virtual Machine – lite builds). Build Windows 10 (full build machines) with Office 365, Use RTS (Remote Technician Support) to remote into user desktop/laptop to back up user profile, then restore to new desktop/laptop on Windows 7, (WAH) users, use Service Now to open tasks on new desktops/laptops received Open INC tickets on new hardware problems for ticket management. Break fix HP Elite desk desktops HP G1, G2 & G3 desktops, Lenovo M15 Desktops, Dell and HP G2, G3 laptops. Use Active Directory for workstation management, reset password, and lookup computer information. Use autobld to change computer name, mirror user’s software on old workstation to new workstation. Use SCCM to install critical updates and Software management/APP Store to install software for Windows 7, Sims to install software for Windows 10.
