I am an experienced data analyst with a passion for problem solving and the ability to utilize a wide range of technical skills to perform end-to-end data analysis. In my time at Sysco as part of the Supply Chain Design team, my focus was on optimizing the inbound and outbound supply chain through strategic, data-driven analysis and process improvement. I have extensive knowledge of data integration systems and the development of extract, transfer, and load process pipelines to streamline data gathering and analysis. I am able to collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to understand organizational goals and to develop and monitor KPIs using a variety of data visualization tools. I also have the ability to present analytical conclusions and insights to stakeholders at all levels, and to support and implement strategic, data-driven business decisions. I have recently moved to Switzerland, and I am searching for a position where I can either build on my past experience in the supply chain realm, or expand into new fields and become a more well-rounded data analyst.
• I led and managed the end-to-end analysis of the logistics network for Sysco’s chain restaurant-specialized subsidiary, SYGMA, to optimize service territories for a large restaurant chain customer, considering future growth and incorporating inbound and product-specific inventory constraints, with optimization cost savings of $4.5M USD. • I analyzed the optimization potential of adding nodes to the logistics network and assisted with the calculation of the internal rate of return on capital investments. • I led the enhancements for the customer alignment modeling process to incorporate the latest methodologies and improve the ease with which the team can pull data, run analyses, and visualize the results.
• I developed a nation-wide outbound network model for the SYGMA network, incorporating financial, sales, and routing data through the data sourcing, cleansing, analysis, and database development phases. The refreshable network model data serves as the inputs to Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru X software to perform any network optimization, transportation optimization, and greenfielding exercises, and enables those analyses to be developed and iterated much faster than previous ad-hoc network analyses. • I expanded the model to maximize profitability considering both existing and prospective customers, unlocking valuable insight into future network potential with a quantitative foundation and based on internal customer specifications. • I developed data visualization dashboards to measure performance metrics and to evaluate the financial and operational impact of network optimization scenarios, in order to translate model outputs into business relevant information and present recommendations to leadership. • I led the end-to-end analysis of the national logistics network for a large restaurant customer with implemented optimization cost savings of $5.5M USD. • I collaborated with regional operations teams to identify network territory alignment opportunities and implement recommended realignments in 6 regions.
• I provided inbound/outbound analysis and support for Retail & Gaming segment customers. • I developed Tableau dashboards to visualize operational and customer specific KPIs and administered Tableau Server production site for internal stakeholders. • I developed the methodology and defined the process for the team to perform network routing analysis for customers using Supply Chain Guru X and Tableau. • I utilized AWS Redshift, SSIS, and Visual Studio to implement an ETL process to improve the efficiency of the customer alignment modeling done by the team.
I worked on the development and implementation of a project plan for MPC's Native Plant Grow Out and BioCycle programs, including the logistics of program start-up and conservation crew recruitment
I participated in conservation activities in Houston-area parks and greenspaces such as native species planting, invasive species removal, erosion control, seed collecting, trail work, and fixing hog traps
I provided front desk library service to patrons and assisted with research and archiving activities at the Texas A&M Galveston library
