Anthony Palmieri is the Deputy Inspector General for the Palm Beach County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller; his work improves integrity of the Florida Guardianship System, and better protects the most vulnerable, silent and innocent citizens of Florida. He is an internationally-recognized subject matter expert and speaker on Silver Collar Crimes- fraud in guardianships. Anthony advises regulators, legislators, bar associations, law enforcement, advocates, and courts throughout the nation. He crafted and spearheaded Florida's Clerk Guardianship Auditing (Ch. 2014-124), Guardianship (Ch. 2018-68) & Guardianship Data Transparency (Ch. 2022-218); he was one of the 15 lawyers deeply involved with Guardianship Proceedings (Ch. 2015-84). He gives keynote & breakout presentations at national conferences: Aging in America, Nat'l Aging & Law Inst., Nat’l Colloquium on Guardianship, Nat'l Adult Protective Services Assoc., Nat'l Guardianship Conf., World Congress on Guardianship (DC, S. Korea, Scotland).Anthony was the Chief Guardianship Investigator for the Clerks' Statewide Investigation Alliance intergovernmental contract providing professional investigation services and legal assistance to the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, Office of Public and Professional Guardians for 8 years. In this timeframe, the SIA issued approx. 600 investigation reports to 4 Department Secretaries and 4 OPPG Executive Directors, investigating 2,598 allegations of wrongdoing. Anthony was an invited expert to the White House Conference on Aging. He was called upon as an expert by the U.S. GAO and the Florida AGO. He was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court to the Florida WINGS committee. In 2020, Anthony’s contributions were acknowledged as a Barry University Distinguished Alumni Award recipient and by the Netflix’s Dirty Money “Guardians Inc.” episode. In 2021, he was interviewed for “Framing Britney Spears”, quoted by the New York Times, and appointed as a voting delegate to the National Summit on Guardianship. The summit develops decennial recommendations for the future of guardianship in the U.S. Also, he was named Vice Chair of the Guardianship Improvement Task Force. In 2022, Palmieri was President of the National Guardianship Association. In 2022-2025, Anthony founded and led the NGA's National Investigator Training for auditors and investigators - Class 1 (Dallas), Class 2 (Orlando), Class 3 (OKC), Class IV (DC). In 2025, he was elected President of the Palm Beach Economic Crimes Unit.

Our organization meets monthly to collaborate, share and combat fraud in South Florida.
