Product Engineering Responsibilities: - Develop a variety of low standby and highly efficient power management ICs including AC-DC Offline Switchers, LED Drivers and Half-Bridge Motor Drivers. - Perform product characterization, finalize specifications and test limits prior to production release.- Conduct characterization data review with cross-functional team to ensure full spec compliance. - Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE’s) to assess design’s robustness across fab and assembly process corners. - Perform electrical failure analysis on reliability failure and drive root cause analysis & corrective actions. - Lead cross-functional task forces to resolve critical customer quality or technology issues that affect multiple product families. - Drive cost reduction programs through yield enhancement, test time reduction, and bonding optimization, which has resulted in a cost savings of millions of dollars on many product lines. - Generate ATE to bench test correlation documentations and train sustaining Product Engineers. - Collaborate with Design, Application, and Reliability engineers to generate schematics for all burn-in hardware. - Mentor and coach junior product engineers. Project Manager Responsibilities: - Lead multiple cross functional New Product Development teams from concept to mass production. - Responsible for all projects deliverables – monitor tasks, resources, timeline, and budget.
- Generate and debug programs and related hardware for wireless and ASIC product testing. - Perform silicon validation, debug, and characterization to evaluate product design and process robustness. - Conduct and analyze characterization data and define wafer sort and final test specifications. - Enhance yield and minimize cost through wafer sort data analysis, PCM data correlation, test methodology improvement, and failure analysis. - Perform ATE and bench verification on customer returns.
- Manage new product development and introduction for Interface drivers and controllers. - Analyze cost and technical feasibility. - Track project schedule and cost to ensure projects stay under budget. - Drive cost reduction programs through yield enhancement and test time reduction. - Collect and analyze product characterization using MBAYSE software. - Conduct characterization data review with cross-functional team. Finalize datasheet and test specs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality and manufacturing issues. - Conduct training to offshore engineers.
