Tony Hawkins has over 25 years’ experience advising oil & gas and renewable energy companies on legal and commercial issues, asset management and strategy. He has previously been the CEO of Sterling Energy plc and Columbus Energy Resources plc and Executive Chairman at Lekoil Limited (all AIM listed companies). He is currently a Director of TerraThermo Limited (the sponsor of a geothermal project in Germany) and Founder/Director of ZeroGeo Energy Limited. ZeroGeo Energy Limited is a green energy project developer committed to developing geothermal storage and base-load power projects at industrial scale. His main skills and experience are in: 1. Management & Strategy: CEO and Chairman - developing and implementing strategy and managing oil & gas and renewable energy operations. 2. Head of Commercial: asset management and New Ventures/M&A. 3. General Counsel: legal risk management with a focus on large scale M&A and Project Development. Tony is a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators. Previously, he sat on the legal committee of Oil & Gas UK and was instrumental in helping develop the standard DES LNG Master Sale Agreement for the European Federation of Energy Traders. He is admitted to practice as a solicitor in England & Wales.
