Development and maintenance of numerous software projects – primarily Java-based APIs and web applications. Development of web front-ends for these applications included a variety of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, PHP and WordPress. Back-end support software (Java/Python/BASH) Management experience leading a small team of software and web developers. Sysadmin/Dev-ops experience including deployment and administration of application deployment and server infrastructure – mostly Docker containers running on CentOS/RHEL hosts, supported by MariaDB/MySQL databases, Apache and Tomcat.
Developing and maintaining bespoke reporting tools for various areas of the business, including management information (MI), compliance and complaints logging, and portfolio construction tools. These tools are typically developed around a combination of SQL queries to extract data, and Excel, using data connections to the SQL server, macros and Visual Basic for Applications to create powerful, user-friendly information dashboards.
