Anthea is a Team Leader - Heritage (NSW) with over six years’ experience. Anthea has experience in conducting Aboriginal and historical heritage assessments, surveys, archaeological test excavations, and salvages for a variety of projects throughout NSW. Anthea possesses specialist skills in analysing Ground Penetrating Radar data, and has experience in undertaking desktop assessments, project management, research, and reporting. Anthea's Masters research focused on a Neolithic settlement in Northern Mongolia and utilised geophysical techniques in order to map the palaeolandscape and determine when the site was inhabitable over the past 10,000 years.
Field Archaeologist for historical excavations at Randwick, and in Parramatta. Duties included excavation, photography, artefact cleaning and catalouging.
Surveying and GPS marking of sites at Citic Pacific Mine, Cape Preston WA, in conjunction with Yaburara & Coastal Mardudhunera Aboriginal Corporation (YACMAC).
Taught students how to use geophysical equipment, complete a magnetometer survey and download data.
